Open Magic Text

Go to Settings > Assistant > Magic Text ，and make sure Magic Text is turned on.

Quickly extract text from pictures

You can extract text from pictures in the following two ways.

Tap to extract the text：

1. Open a picture, click on the icon at the bottom right of the picture, the recognized text will be highlighted for easy viewing.

2. In the highlighted state, if the underlined text (like mobile phone number) is visible, click the number to pop up the menu, and you can perform shortcut operations such as making phone calls, sending text messages, or sharing with others.

3. Drag the cursor to select the recognized text and then, in the pop-up menu, you can perform shortcut operations such as copy, select all, translate, share, or search.

4. In the split-screen state, long press the selected text area to drag it to other apps, like Notes, chat frame, etc.

Long press the text image to extract text：

1. Open a picture, the icon will appear at the bottom right of the picture，long press the text area in the picture with one finger.

2. Drag the cursor to select the recognized text and then, in the pop-up menu, you can perform shortcut operations such as copy, select all, translate, share, or search.

3. In the split-screen state, long press the selected text area to drag it to other apps, like Notes, chat frame, etc.
